Welcome to the Stanmore Society's Website. The Stanmore Society was founded in 1959. We presently have over 700 members.

Our aim is to make Stanmore the best place to live in and our main concerns are: The protection of the Green Belt, Vandalism, Road Safety and planning applications. We also liaise with the Police on local issues.

If you are not yet a member of 'The Stanmore Society', please consider joining. Single membership is only £3 per year. If you are a member, please encourage your friends and family to join. The more members we have, the more effective our campaigning will be.

We have received a number of queries about Spenhill's proposals for a Tesco store on the old multi-storey car park site and will be updating this website with information as we receive it.
